Your participation in this study involves one study visit that will last up to 30 minutes.
It will roughly take less than 5 minutes to collect saliva, 5 minutes to collect fingerstick blood samples, and 10 minutes to collect venipuncture blood samples. These estimates do not include the amount of time required to review and sign the consent form.
A discussion reviewing the consent form will occur during the appointment prior to sample collection, and the participant will be asked to sign the consent form.
Participants who plan to provide saliva should drink at least 2 cups of water 30 minutes to 1 hour before saliva is collected. Also, participants who plan to provide a venipuncture sample should drink at least 2 cups of water and have a snack before the blood draw.
